Coaching and Management

At Hyde Lodge we offer a range of services to meet our clients needs. Whatever their goals, we aim to bring out the best in both horse and rider and reach their targets through our tailored programmes.

The elements consist of:

  • Initial assessment
  • Development of a training plan and a show schedule
  • Competition planning, management, support and logistics
  • A strong training concept for the riders
  • Professional schooling of horses in riders absence
  • General horse management (vets, blacksmith, feed)

My daughter and her young horse were based for coaching mentorship throughout 2020. We initially only planned for a term, but it was so productive for both horse and rider we ended up staying for the whole season. In the process Alex guided them from BE90 to a double clear in their first novice, helping to meet our most optimistic goals for their first season.

A born communicator, Alex's coaching would have been exceptional even in someone with 20 more years of experience, Combined with his total, fun filled commitment, brilliant facilities and downright lovely team, it makes Alex and Hyde Lodge a rare and happy find.
