Who are we?
Hyde Lodge was founded in 2017 by Alex, and since then the operation has rapidly expanded its capacity and facilities. As well as competing, Alex and his team spend time sourcing and producing top quality young horses up the levels. Over the years Alex has successfully partnered many riders from all over the world with horses that have helped them to realise their riding dreams.
Tiny Clapham is a world renowned rider, trainer and agent, who has been in the industry for 50 years. Having competed with great success up to the highest level, including the Olympics, Tiny has a wealth of knowledge in finding and developing top level horses. Tiny has also coached and mentored many top riders, also up to Olympic level.

Thanks to our experience and connections within the equestrian world, we also have access to many horses that are not available on the open market.

– Our location is one of our greatest assets. Being centrally located in the heart of the UK means we are surrounded by some of the best riders and horses. This way we are able to cut down on travel times and give more time to focus on the horses. We also boast fantastic facilities at our base, giving the perfect environment to try horses in every way possible.
Our location also puts us in one of most beautiful parts of the UK, boasting beautiful hotels, quintessential English towns, and top dining venues. Whether you want to work in a spa afternoon on a country estate, or a round of golf in the morning, we are here to make it happen.

Woodlands Be Daring
Sold as a 7 year old to up and coming young rider Sasha Hargreaves, Woodlands Be Daring has given her success at some of the biggest shows on the circuit, culminating with a podium finish in the prestigious U25 4*L class at Bramham.

Emill
After achieving international and European Championship success with Alex, Emill was then sold to British rider Imogen White. Together they enjoyed a very fruitful partnership, earning themselves a spot on the British Junior European team where they picked up a team silver medal.
Playmate III
Produced up to 2* before being sold to United States for US rider Jack Curtis.
