The team at Hyde Lodge had a great week competing in Ireland, making the long journey worthwhile, bringing back some very promising results.
The star of the show was Cool Jack, owned by the “Cool Jack Syndicate,” who was contesting in his first CCI*** at just 10 years old. With the primary aim being a qualifying result, he surpassed all expectations, producing a solid test in the dressage, and showing his jumping prowess in both phases around strong tracks. This great performance left him in 6th place after the final phase, which fantastic end to the week.
“The Dustman,” was also competing in the CIC**, and had a good steady run before he steps a level later on this season.
Cool Jack is now having a well deserved rest in the field, ready to begin his winter training program, with high hopes for 2019.
